Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to use this site

Prado Park Equestrian Center wants this website to work for every visitor, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, zoom the page, or turn off motion. The site was rebuilt in 2026 with that as a starting requirement rather than an afterthought.

The standard we build to

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. As of the last review on 2026-09-16, we consider this site partially conformant: the automated checks pass, the keyboard and reduced-motion checks pass, and the items listed below are the known gaps.

How it is tested

Every release is checked with the same engines the public scanners use (axe-core and HTML_CodeSniffer against WCAG 2.2 AA, plus Lighthouse) on desktop and phone sizes, and then by hand: a full keyboard pass, a reduced-motion pass, and a 320-pixel reflow check. Every photograph on the site has a written description.

Known limitations
